Goals
Create an Ethnic Studies Major
I want to empower students through the creation of an Ethnic Studies major. This major would foster the understanding of people from various backgrounds and experiences. It would promote research and knowledge regarding the intersection of power dynamics, race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, class, and dis/ability. |
Increase Accessibility to Resources
I will work toward expanding the accessibility of academic and non-academic resources on campus by establishing a plan for creating a permanent location for our food pantry. I will also create workshops to help students who are facing food and housing insecurity. |
Revitalize A.S. University Council
I will strengthen the connection between the University administration and the students by implementing more components of trainings for University Council members to better serve the student body. |
